SAP Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

Yara is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with strong SAP expertise to join the Enterprise Data Platforms team. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining data pipelines, warehouses and analytics solutions that support enterprise‑level decision making across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical designs and data models.
• Develop and optimise data extraction, ingestion, transformation and loading processes, primarily using SAP BW, HANA, SLT and SAP Business Data Cloud.
• Manage the full lifecycle of BI solutions, including incident handling, service requests, testing, change management and release activities.
• Monitor and resolve performance, data‑quality and security issues, ensuring a clean and reliable data platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects and other developers to continuously improve the enterprise data platform.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in SAP data engineering and BI development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

• Microsoft Fabric (plus Power BI and/or Alteryx as a plus)
