Senior Financial Controller

About the role

AKROPOLIS GROUP is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, consolidation and accounting across its Lithuanian and Latvian entities. You will ensure compliance with IFRS, manage audit processes and support strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual and interim financial statements for the Group and individual companies in accordance with IFRS.
• Coordinate the Group consolidation process and improve Group Reporting Packages.
• Calculate, monitor and ensure compliance with financial covenants.
• Lead the annual audit, liaise with external auditors and prepare materials for the Audit Committee.
• Oversee accounting practices across Lithuanian and Latvian entities, advising on IFRS treatment.
• Coordinate tax matters and monitor legislative changes.
• Manage intercompany transactions, settlements and debt control processes.
• Document, improve and automate finance and reporting processes.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in financial reporting, audit or financial control.
• Good knowledge of IFRS; experience with consolidation and IFRS 16 is a plus.
• Understanding of tax principles and requirements.
• ACC​A studies or qualification is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and high responsibility.
• Ability to plan independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English.
