Senior KYC & Quality Control Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior KYC & Quality Control Analyst to lead client onboarding and ongoing due‑diligence activities while ensuring the department’s work meets the highest quality standards. You will evaluate risk, make independent decisions on business relationships, and support the fight against financial crime.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee customer onboarding and ongoing due‑diligence for individuals and corporate clients, collecting and verifying identification documents.
• Communicate with customers to obtain additional information and supporting documentation.
• Apply appropriate Customer Due Diligence measures based on risk categorisation.
• Conduct sanctions, PEP/RCA and adverse‑media screening during onboarding and ODD/EDD processes.
• Prepare Customer Risk Assessments, propose mitigating actions, and decide on relationship establishment, maintenance, restriction, or termination.
• Report any suspicion of money laundering or terrorist financing to the MLRO.
• Perform quality‑control reviews of onboarded cases and ODD files, identifying inconsistencies and reporting findings.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer onboarding, including high‑risk and complex ownership structures.
• Proven experience in SAR/STR reporting and identifying suspicious activity.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities, able to assess risk independently.
• Proactive, hands‑on professional who drives tasks to completion.
• Confident public speaker with experience delivering internal presentations and training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
