Senior Power BI & Power Automate Consultant (German speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Power BI & Power Automate Consultant who is fluent in German to join an international IT Service Management project for a major automotive organization. The role involves taking technical and functional responsibility for reporting within the Reporting work package, creating and maintaining management dashboards and automated reporting solutions that give visibility into IT service quality, stability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and continuously improve Power BI reports and dashboards for management and business units.
• Integrate, model and connect data from sources such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure and REST APIs.
• Gather and clarify business requirements together with process and service owners.
• Automate reporting processes using Power Automate, including data refresh, notifications, approvals and distribution workflows.
• Support the conception of new reporting formats (KPI reports, ad‑hoc analyses, management reports) and optimise existing visualisations for performance and usability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high self‑responsibility.
• Excellent German and English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally on short notice.

Required skills

• Power BI development, DAX and Power Query (M) expertise.
• Data modelling and performance optimisation for large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency with Power Automate for report automation.
• Experience connecting to SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI‑powered agents.
