Site Reliability Engineer, Hardware

About the role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join Vinted’s Hardware team and ensure the reliability of more than 10,000 physical servers across our data centres. You will work closely with data‑center administrators and engineering teams to monitor, troubleshoot and automate server operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the health of 10,000+ production servers, meeting defined SLOs.
• Investigate hardware, BIOS, BMC and Linux issues, perform root‑cause analysis and validate repairs.
• Develop and maintain automation for server provisioning, configuration management and large‑scale deployments.
• Create Grafana dashboards, set up alerts and monitor performance metrics.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, platform and engineering teams to support secure and scalable services.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response and post‑mortem reviews.
• Lead data‑center reliability initiatives and benchmark new hardware.

Required profile

• Strong background in data‑center operations and server hardware.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting Linux systems, BIOS, BMC and networking.
• Proficiency in building automation scripts and tools.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and handle on‑call duties.
