Technical Information Security Officer – Baltic Region

About the role

Join IKEA Baltics as a Technical Information Security Officer and help protect data, systems and customers across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You will work closely with the Inter IKEA Security team and local IT stakeholders to align practices with global standards while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain information security strategies for the three Baltic countries.
• Design and enforce IT security policies based on IKEA Policy House and IConduct.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability testing and security awareness training.
• Ensure encryption and security protocols protect sensitive customer and company data.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance to meet GDPR and other data‑protection regulations.
• Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans and lead incident‑response simulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT security role, preferably in retail or a similar environment.
• Deep understanding of information‑security frameworks and GDPR.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a Baltic language is a plus.
