Accountant – Global Compliance and Reporting

About the role

EY is hiring an Accountant for its Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team in Kaunas. The role supports financial integrity by providing accounting solutions and helping businesses navigate complex compliance obligations, with a focus on financial transparency and regulatory commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions, maintain accounting records, process and issue invoices, manage bank accounts and prepare payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and team members to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in business, economics, accounting, finance or a related field.
• Experience in an accounting position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in an international environment is an advantage.

Salary: EUR 1900-2400 gross. The position is listed as hybrid (#LI-Hybrid).
