Junior Accountant

About the role

EY is hiring a Junior Accountant for its Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team in Kaunas. The role supports financial integrity by providing accounting solutions and helping businesses navigate complex compliance obligations, with a focus on financial transparency and accurate record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions in accounting software and maintain accounting records based on client-provided information.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks, including processing incoming invoices and handling ad-hoc requests.
• Administer bank accounts: create payment orders, maintain bank balances and supervise accounts.
• Prepare monthly payroll calculations for clients.
• Carry out other accounting tasks.

Required profile

• University degree or final-year student in business, economics, accounting, finance, STEM or a related field.
• Interest in finance and accounting news and motivation to grow as an accounting expert.
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
• Fluent spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
• Related work or internship experience and good MS Office skills are a benefit.

Salary: EUR 1700-2100 gross. The position is listed as hybrid (#LI-Hybrid).
