Accounting Internship

About the role

EY is offering an accounting internship in Kaunas. The intern posts transactions in accounting software, helps with daily administrative tasks and supports general administration of bank accounts, with the possibility of staying with EY after graduation.

Key responsibilities

• Post transactions in accounting software and maintain accounting records based on information provided by the client.
• Assist with daily administrative tasks, including processing incoming invoices and handling other ad-hoc requests.
• Administer bank accounts, such as creating payment orders, maintaining bank balances and supervising them overall.
• Prepare monthly payroll calculations for clients.
• Carry out other accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Degree (or third or final-year student) in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, STEM or another related field.
• Curiosity and willingness to keep up with finance and accounting news.
• Motivation and willingness to grow as an accounting expert.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Lithuanian and English.

Required skills

• Strong computer skills.
