EDD Process Owner

About the role

As the Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Process Owner at Luminor Group, you will lead the end‑to‑end management and continuous improvement of EDD processes across the organization. You will ensure that procedures, risk scoring frameworks and controls meet regulatory expectations while supporting efficient, consistent operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the EDD process, ensuring clarity, efficiency, compliance and alignment across the Baltics.
• Develop, maintain and update EDD procedures, instructions, requirements and documentation in line with regulatory expectations.
• Drive closure of identified gaps, initiate improvements and support system enhancements.
• Provide input on EDD‑related risk scoring and support development of new processes, systems and tools.
• Support operational teams on complex cases, review quality, share feedback and uphold high standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance, CRM, IT, Sales and other stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of EDD requirements.
• Monitor EDD quality, identify improvement areas and translate insights into actionable changes.
• Prepare regular management reporting on key EDD topics, risks, progress and developments.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing through guidance, training and updates for relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in KYC, EDD, AML/CFT, sanctions or financial crime prevention.
• Strong understanding of regulated processes and ability to translate requirements into clear procedures.
• Proven process‑management skills with a focus on efficiency, quality and consistency.
• Comfortable handling complex topics, taking ownership and driving initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, IT and Sales.
• Fluent English.
