About the role

The National Development Bank in Lithuania is seeking a senior leader to head its Financial Reporting Department. You will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality financial and regulatory reporting across the bank group while driving continuous improvement and supporting the bank’s public‑interest mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce the bank group’s accounting policies.
• Prepare annual and interim consolidated financial statements.
• Produce regulatory reports, guaranteeing their accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate actively in the implementation and enhancement of IT systems within the department’s scope.
• Coordinate external audit activities and liaise with supervisory authorities.
• Organise departmental workflow and foster team development.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in finance, accounting, audit or a similar area.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and banking regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to independently prepare and consolidate financial and regulatory statements.
• Experience driving organisational change.
• Proactive attitude with strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
