Regional Chief Compliance Officer – Lithuania

About the role

Telcoin Europe UAB is seeking a Regional Chief Compliance Officer to lead its compliance function across its European operations, based in Vilnius. Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, the CCO will shape compliance strategy, oversee regulatory licensing and ensure adherence to European and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional compliance function across Telcoin Europe's regulated entities.
• Develop, implement and continuously enhance the Group Compliance Framework.
• Ensure compliance with European and local regulatory requirements such as MiCAPSD2/PSD3, Electronic Money Directives, AML/CFT legislation, GDPR, DORA, Transfer of Funds Regulation and consumer protection rules.
• Serve as the primary compliance advisor to the CEO, executive management and the Board.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, financial intelligence units and external auditors.
• Oversee licensing projects, authorization applications and supervisory interactions.
• Establish compliance monitoring, testing programmes and reporting processes.
• Review and approve new products, services and strategic initiatives from a regulatory perspective.
• Develop policies, procedures and governance standards, and lead risk assessments.
• Deliver compliance training and promote an ethical culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a senior compliance leadership role.
• Extensive experience within regulated financial institutions, including electronic money institutions, payment institutions, banks and fintech companies.
• Strong knowledge of payments, digital assets and financial crime compliance.
